Once Upon Many Times

Eve, Noah, Moses & Many Others

From January 25th to May 19th, 2019.

Fifteen wonderful stories from the Bible come to life at MIR: on the last floor of the Tower of Babel, with Jonah in the belly of the fish, aboard Noah’s ark…Visitors are immersed in a colourful and vibrant universe designed by drawing and writing virtuosos.

Artist Serge Bloch and writer Frédéric Boyer have teamed up to recreate for a public of all ages and background the poetic world of the Old Testament’ founding stories. Animated short films are playing on one, two and sometimes three screens displayed across all rooms within the museum’s permanent collections, along with illustrations, drawings and texts that are both artistic and informative.

Actor André Dussolier performs the voice-over.

Open all days from 10 AM to 5 PM except Mondays.

Prices: CHF 13 / 8 / 6 including access to both the temporary and the permanent exhibitions.

« This museum has a lot of details, stories and artifacts. It goes through the whole history of the Reformation and helps situate Geneva in the story of Christianity. The little audio guides are great included additions that provide rich historical context. »
