This delightful little work contains four texts constituting the complete liturgy of the Reformed Church of Geneva, including the Psalms translated into French by Clément Marot and Théodore de Bèze in a 1564 edition by Jean Crespin.

This collection of psalms, later translated into several languages, met with immense success and considerably influenced the practice of the faith of the Reformed in France and Geneva.

The binding presents covers decorated with a splendid decoration of "Indian heads", a motif found on Geneva bindings of the 1580s.
