Discover the Reformation from 1517 to the present
The MIR stands where Genevans voted in favour of the Reformation in 1536, and features more than 600 books, manuscripts, engravings, paintings and objects. They tell the story of five centuries of Protestant history marked by an extraordinary figure: John Calvin.
« Good museum. International Museum of the Reformation was founded with the aim of showcasing the living history of Geneva and the Reformation. Artwork and the Bibles are interesting. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is audio guide available. »
